Printmaking has long been one of my favorite art forms, and Rockwell Kent has to be one of my favorite print-makers.
I just discovered that his book Wilderness: A Journal of Quiet Adventure in Alaska (from which the sample print above was taken) is available for download as a free e-book through Google Books. Not only are the prints amazing, the narrative of his travels in Alaska is delightful.
